Asian markets have a weak day

The Asian markets ended on a weak note. The Hang Seng dropped 171 points (0.8%) to 21,175 and Nikkei shed 21 points (0.2%) at 10,142. Jan cement sales in high double-digit The Shanghai Composite slipped 65 points (2%) to 3,113 and the Straits Times shed 8 points (0.3%) at 2,804. The Straits Times is down 23 points (0.8%) at 2,789.
