The country’s largest bank is holding an entrance examination tomorrow in the city and the administration has assured MNS that it will speak to the authorities in Delhi regarding the demand. “About 150,000 applications were received by SBI and 70 per cent are outsiders. The posts are local and Marathi people should get priority for that,” Parkar added. MNS had also raised the issue during the Railway Board exams last year, which took a violent turn as party activists attacked 17 examination centres in suburban Mumbai, and chased away candidates from north India.
