HSCI launches 2 variants of Honda City

Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI), manufacturer of premium cars in India, today launched two new variants of Honda City- Honda City 1.5V and the new Honda City 1.5S. - Volkswagen to unveil new electric car at IAA - BMW, Mazda lead the way as auto emissions fall: Survey - Toyota launches new Land Cruiser Prado - Volkswagen group to make Malaysia auto parts sourcing hub - Ford to up India output by over 30% ahead of festive season - Car sales continue to grow for seventh month in Aug Honda Siel Cars India is a joint venture between Japan"s Honda Motor and India"s Siel limited. Honda City 1.5V and 1.5S will be priced starting Rs 8.82 lakh and Rs 8.37 lakh, respectively. The new Honda City will now be available as SMT, VMT and VAT. Additionally, all the variants will be available in 2 attractive types – Elegance and Inspire. The total investment made by the company in India till date is Rs 1,620 crore. At present, the company has a capacity of manufacturing 1,00,000 cars.
