Sun Pharmaceutical Industries today said it has got the approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for the generic version of Quinapril Hydrochloride tablets used in the treatment of hypertension and congested heart failure.

The Quinapril Hydrochloride Tablets are generic version of "Accupril" tablets from Pfizer"s portfolio and are available in four strengths, the company said in a filing to Bombay Stock Exchange.
The drug have annual sales of approximately $45 million in US, it added.
