Land acquisition process, in the recent times, has emerged as a major bottleneck resulting in time lags, cost over runs, business uncertainties and even shelving of projects by companies. TRS chief ends hunger strike

He has been shifted to a local hospital on Monday evening where he broke his fast by drinking a glass of fruit juice. Meanwhile, normal life was disrupted in several parts of the Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh on Monday due to a bandh call given by TRS in protest against the arrest of Rao. The state road transport corporation cancelled its bus services in many places including Hyderabad, Medak, Karimnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad and Warangal. Many educational institutions in the state capital and other areas remained closed. The situation remained tense in Osmania University (OU).
