| I spoke with Chris in the sales department- he was GREAT. Prior to contacting Focused Technology, I attempted to purchase this projector from Epson directly. When I called Epson, no one seemed to understand what tax-exempt meant. When I finally was able to speak to someone who knew what I was talking about, she stated that it would take "weeks" to create a tax-exempt account and make the purchase! Excellent purchase. Rather than order online I wanted to talk to a service rep and the rep was able to help me finalize my decision on which Draper Onyx fixed screen to order. I made my order on Friday and it arrived without incident on Tuesday. Shipping info was provided immediately. Best price for this screen and on top of that FREE SHIPPING for that item as well. | I am an expat living in Switzerland and depend heavily on reliable internet providers. Focused Technology did a fabulous job for me. I ordered a Sanyo PLV-Z4 (great unit) for a Christmas gift on a Monday - exactly as promised it shipped the next day and arrived at the US destination in 3 days. I had a bulb problem and sent them an email -- and THEY CALLED ME BACK immediately -- plus an email to say they had solved the problem with Sanyo and had shipped a replacement bulb already. | I had a very satisfactory transaction with Focused Tech when I purchased a 106" diagonal Da-Lite High Power tripod. Calls to the company were fielded by courteous staff members. When there was a delay because of the custom-order nature of the screen, FT took initiative and provided a shipping upgrade. | The prices are in the top 10%(least expensive) Yes--you can save a few dollars--but the customer service is the difference. No wrong lamps--no "out of stock--when listed as in stock". A telephone call will tell you that these people are well trained and curtious. You spend big $s on lamps and projectors--get the right one--not a re-boxed dog. | |||

| I purchased a 9ft x 7ft Da-Lite Screen from Focused Technology (FT). Cheapest price anywhere, I checked around quite a bit. Remember to check shipping charges, on a large screen it can be upwards to $100, FT has free shipping. I ordered it on Tuesday morning and they said it would be shipped in two days (on the web site) and I would receive e-mail notice at time of shipping. I called Friday afternoon and said that I had received no shipping notice. I talked with a really pleasant sales staff and they looked up my order and said it was placed with the factory that day and I should get a notification by the upcoming Tuesday and usually the shipping was by freight carrier and would probably arrive within another week. By Tuesday next (one week from initial order) I hadn't received any notice and was wondering when the screen would be shipped. That afternoon the shipper showed up with the screen in great condition. Overall FT's staff was friendly, shipping was quick, product arrived in excellent condition. My only complaint is that I would have liked to had notice that the product was shipped so I could have been home when it arrived. My wife accepted the screen but due to a bad back had problems getting in the house. The driver did most of the heavy work. I would shop with this company again. Friendly, Low Prices and Fast. | |||
