Epson has announced four new projectors for home entertainment and modern workspaces, including two models that work with Apple AirPlay and support screen mirroring with Miracast.
The new DIY home theater projectors are the Home Cinema 1100 3LCD wireless 1080p projector that works with Apple AirPlay and Home Cinema 980 1080p projector. The new hybrid workspaces models are the Pro EX9270 wireless Full HD projector that works with Apple AirPlay and the EX3290 WXGA projector.
As Epson's first retail projectors with built-in support for Apple AirPlay, these models enable simplified streaming of videos, music, and photos from an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The new projectors were designed to elevate DIY home theater setups and cultivate collaboration in modern work environments, all at accessible price points.

Residing in the standardized portable projector weight class (4 lbs to less than 11 lbs), the new projectors were engineered for a wide range of environments, from DIY home theaters to conference rooms and hybrid workspaces.
For the DIY home theater market, the $899 (MSRP) Home Cinema 1100 wireless 1080p projector is rated at 3,400 ISO Lumens and the $799 (MSRP) Home Cinema 980 1080p projector is rated at 4,000 ISO Lumens, each delivering a display size up to 300 inches. Whether watching TV shows or enjoying sports or video games, the built-in speaker, versatile connectivity and easy setup, allow for HD entertainment right out of the box.
Ready to go in seconds, the portable projectors feature picture skew sensor and two HDMI ports to make it easy to connect to laptops and a range of streaming devices, including Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Roku, and Chromecast.

For collaboration in modern hybrid workspaces the new $999 (MSRP) Pro EX9270 Wireless Full HD projector is rated at 4,100 ISO Lumens and $649 (MSRP) EX3290 WXGA projector is rated at 4,000 ISO Lumens, both also capable of delivering images up to 300 inches. The projectors have been designed as timesavers with simplified set up, built-in speakers, and picture skew sensor, and two HDMI ports for connecting laptops for seamless video conferencing and streaming devices.
For easier installation in nearly any space, the Pro EX9270 includes 1.6x optical zoom, keystone correction, and four-corner adjustment for simple, accurate alignment.
The new projectors are now available on Epson.com and through select retailers. The projectors come with Epson's service and support services, including full-unit replacement along with free technical phone support for the life of the product. The Pro EX9270 and EX3290 come with a standard one-year limited projector warranty (90-day limited lamp warranty) and the Home Cinema 1100 and Home Cinema 980 come with a standard two-year limited projector warranty (90-day limited lamp warranty).
