Epson EB-PU2213B User Reviews

I work for a production house that has mostly Epson projectors. This model in particular has an issue- I believe stems from the lack of a filter (there are only vents that you vacuum out). We've had many of these projectors go down and they all throw two errors: Laser Warning followed by a Sensor Error. They will shut off and fans will spin at 100% for a couple minutes. So far Epson has just replaced every projector that has gone down without even bothering to ask any follow up questions or try any real troubleshooting...which leads me to believe that they know about this issue and are just trying to get through all of the bad batch by replacing every single one as soon as it has an issue. THIS IS NOT A SOLUTION, because, even one that they sent as a replacement had the same issue. My company has lost money, and if we didn't have so many lenses we would've already switched to Panasonic or Barco. Epson support has been a little lackluster as well, they will elevate the call to a "specialist" who doesn't seem to know more than the brochure about the projector provides. They won't admit this is an ongoing issue, though I have friends at other companies who have had issues with this exact model as well...search for EB-PU2213B on Reddit and find out for yourself. Great Image, easy to use, work well for blending, until it stops working and you have to refund a client and potentially damage your reputation. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
