Optoma Unveils GT4000UHD True 4K UHD Gaming and Home Entertainment Ultra Short Throw Projector

FREMONT, Calif., May 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Optoma, the No. 1 DLP® Laser brand worldwide,* today introduced the GT4000UHD, a compact 4K UHD laser ultra short throw projector for optimal gaming experiences and home entertainment viewing. Joining the company's line of award-winning projectors, the GT4000UHD projector delivers high brightness at 4,000 lumens, reliable long-term usage, and installation flexibility for a variety of home viewing occasions.

The GT4000UHD features superior color performance and a 500,000:1 contrast ratio delivering ultra-smooth motion and vivid color accuracy that make every movie, show, or live sports or gaming feel more immersive, vibrant, and real than ever. For smaller spaces, the GT4000UHD displays up to 100-inch images from less than 12-inches away, (120" maximum) from the screen for convenient use in any room, no matter the size or location.

Offering high contrast, accurate true-to-life color reproduction for movie lovers, Optoma's GT4000UHD delivers bright 4,000 lumens so sports fans can enjoy live action in many lighting environments. Suitable for console to PC gaming, the projector takes gaming to new heights with ultra-low input lag that is four times lower than the competing display technology with 8ms at 120Hz 1080p, 4.3ms at 240Hz 1080p and 16.9ms at 60Hz 4K60, giving gamers smooth and responsive gaming sessions.

Optoma's DuraCore laser technology extends the life of the new GT4000UHD by up to six times compared to an equivalent lamp projector, offering lifetime reliability with 30,000 hours of operation in Eco mode. For easy installation, the GT4000UHD is equipped with four-corner correction** and 360-degree and portrait mode for flexible place and play projection on virtually any surface in any room.
