WAY under brightness spec
I bought four of these on the strength of the Projector Central review to replace some bulb-based Optoma EH415ST 3500 lumen projectors, seemed like a great price for the power. NOT. Unpacked one and set it up next to an Optoma - both set to max power and presentation mode. The Optoma with an old bulb appeared almost twice as bright, and it was confirmed with a meter - the ViewSonic putting out 60% of the Optoma. So presentation mode was maybe 2300 lumens if I'm being generous, nowhere near the 3269 cited in the review. Thought maybe it was just a defective unit, so unboxed another - exact same result. All of them going back. And the feature set is rather poor - I knew going in the only connectivity was RS-232, but found that the menu options were missing things like being able to set the menu timeout, etc.
